What type of alerts to new matches should I expect to receive?

We will send SMS and email alerts with a link to new matches we have identified based on the main pet photo that has been added to their pet report. This link will include potential photo matches based on community reports, found pets posted by users on Nextdoor, as well as new intakes reported by shelters.

If your pet has a microchip, be sure to add their microchip ID number to their Petco Love Lost profile. This allows us to send you SMS and email alerts if we find a match to your pet's microchip ID number.
