If you have received an email letting you know your pet report is about to expire, the best thing to do is simply log in to your Petco Love Lost account.
Once logged in, if your pet is displayed normally, no further action is needed and your listing will remain active. If your pet appears greyed out, this indicates that the listing has expired and will need to be reactivated.
- Navigate to My Pets — inactive listings will appear greyed out
- Click on the greyed-out pet listing
- Select the purple “Reactivate” button on the page
Once reactivated, your pet’s listing will be visible again in the database and can continue matching with found or lost pet reports.
