What happens when I click on a pet with a Nextdoor or Neighbors label?

If you see a potential match with a green Nextdoor or  blue Neighbors label, that’s great news — it means the post is coming directly from one of those community platforms!

When you click on the pet:

• If it has a Nextdoor label, you’ll be redirected to the Nextdoor app or website, where you’ll need to sign in to view the full listing. Once signed in, you can message the user directly within Nextdoor.

• If it has a Neighbors label, you’ll be redirected to the Ring Neighbors app or website, where you’ll also be prompted to sign in. From there, you can view the post and contact the user directly through Neighbors.

These integrations help you quickly connect with people who may have found or are looking for a pet in your area, using the tools they’re already familiar with.
